But what does it mean?
I thought I would explain a bit more about the title of this blog, Dim Sum Knitting. From Merriam-Webster's Online Dictionary, dim sum is "traditional Chinese food consisting of a variety of items (as steamed or fried dumplings, pieces of cooked chicken, and rice balls) served in small portions." I'm all about the food. Literally, dim sum in Cantonese translates to mean: dim = speck and sum = heart, or a little bit of heart. Maybe one day I'll become a "designer" and design my own knitted dim sum. Or more realistically, I'll just eat dim sum while knitting. Now we're talking!
